Your hips are an extremely important part of your body. If they are injured, it can make it difficult to do things like stand up, walk or even sit for longer periods of time.
What you really need to know about this area of your body is that it’s fairly complex.
While most people probably think that there’s a few muscles that make your hip function properly the truth is… there’s more than 20 muscles that are responsible for making your hips move properly.
And that’s not including your core muscles which are directly linked to your hips. In addition… this joint is surrounded and reinforced by strong ligaments and cartilage that are designed to bear the weight of your body while standing, walking, running and especially jumping.

That’s because a hurt foot for example will change the way you walk which effectively changes the way your hip moves.
The bottom line is… the human body is complex, as are your hips, and it’s very easy to cause aches and pains in this area of your body, even without sudden injury, just by the way you move on a daily basis. The good news is…
