Your elbows are an extremely important part of your body. If they are injured, it can make it difficult to do things like write, type, pick things up and even drive your car.
What you really need to know about this area of your body is that it’s fairly complex.
To start… your elbow is a hinge joint. Which means it’s designed to flex and extend in one plane of motion. Inside…three bones intersect along with several ligaments and tendons.
But what makes your elbow unique is that your lower arm has 2 bones which can twist and turn your elbows.
These bones and the muscles around them literally cross over each other in a very small space.

The bad news is… since you’re experiencing elbow pain right now, I can tell you that this is not the case for you. Plus… other parts of your body need to move properly too.
That’s because pain in your elbows can often be caused by a muscle imbalance and poor coordination in your shoulder blade.
The bottom line is… the human body is complex, as are your elbows, and it’s very easy to cause aches and pains in this area of your body, even without sudden injury, just by the way you move on a daily basis. The good news is…
