My name is Dr. James Vegher, and I am a physical therapist who specializes in helping people fix their joint pain problems.

Over 20 years ago, I started my journey towards being a Physical Therapist. I always knew that I wanted to help people.

But what I didn’t know is that the vast majority of physical therapists don’t fully understand how our DNA contributes to our overall movement health.

The bottom line is that most of my patients see improvement. Either their pain is significantly diminished or it goes away, completely.

So, I’ve spent my entire professional life getting advanced training in a field of physical therapy that helps people re-learn movements that are encoded in their DNA.

You’re Probably Here Today Because of My Ability to Understand the Reasons Behind Most Types of Joint Pain

And if you’re anything like the people who come to my practice every day, the last thing that you need is another doctor who is impressed with his or her own skill set. Let me give you the basics behind who I am and why I do what I do.

Back in 1995, I graduated from Marquette University with my Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. I got a well-rounded, rigorous education there, and I even had to see and treat actual patients.

When I chose Physical Therapy as a profession, I knew that I wanted to help people who couldn’t move easily. See, I think people deserve to feel good in their bodies.

And I believe that people who have difficulty moving deserve to be able to walk or even run if they want to. I’ve dedicated my life to this!

In college, on my very first day seeing patients, I was presented with a patient who’d had a stroke and who needed effective treatment to start moving well, again.

My patient was confined to either a bed or a wheelchair and my supervising physical therapist asked me what I would do to help the patient.

The problem was that I didn’t know the answer.

I mean...how could I? I was still a student, in school...learning!

My supervising therapist didn’t know the answer, either, so I went to the library and researched possible solutions.

That day was the real beginning of my journey to find out what actually works for people with mobility challenges.

I Discovered The Secret To Joint Health Is Quietly Hidden In Your Brain

That night in the library, I read on how the brain and the body naturally work together during the rehab process.

The next time I came back to see the patient, I started trying things that no one had taught me in class - things that that my instructors had never seen.

And my patient started getting better!

While I was still a student, people often stopped to watch me as I worked…and I knew without a doubt that if I could just figure out that brain-body connection, I might be able to really help a whole lot of people.

This experience made me realize that I was onto something important. I started asking myself important questions.

  • How were human beings meant to move from birth ?
  • What can all of us learn from the movement patterns of babies ?
  • Is there a "right way" to sit up, stand, walk, and bend over?
  • What repetitive movements do most adults perform that leads them to the most frequent types of joint pain ?
  • Is mainstream physical therapy (though well-intentioned) missing something really important ?

The more answers I got to these kinds of questions, the more I resolved to help as many people as I could.

I’m One Of Only 62 Physical Therapists In North America Who Can Help People Move The Way They Were Meant To From Birth

After earning my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, I started looking for ways to help people who don’t live in California.

Many of the patients who come to me for help have tried everything they know to relieve their joint pain issues...

...because it’s tough to find someone with my particular educational skill set. And I’m not saying that to brag.

I'm saying it because it’s true...and it’s incredibly important that you know.

Massage Therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and yoga instructors are all well-meaning. But a lot of times, they ask you to contort or move your body into positions it was never meant to be in.

This kind of wrong movement is the foundation for most types of joint pain...

...and I’ve learned that if you can just learn the right ways to move, many times, it is possible to heal your pain.

It’s not a rare thing for people to walk out of their first one-hour session at my facility pain-free for the first time in years !

Because of this, I’ve created a quiz that can help you understand what steps to take next if you want to try to resolve your joint pain problems.

You can TAKE THIS 30-SECOND JOINT PAIN QUIZ to see what solutions will work best for you.
