Your knees are an extremely important part of your body. If they are injured, it can make it difficult to do things like stand up, walk, run or jump.
What you really need to know about this area of your body is that it’s fairly complex.
The knee is a hinge joint which means it was designed to flex and extend in one plane of motion.
And… it’s one of the major shock absorbers in your body. Inside the knee, you have large cartilage surfaces bundled up with tendons and ligaments designed to keep your knee healthy and stable.

That’s because pain in your knees can often be caused by a muscle imbalance in your hip or foot.
The bottom line is… the human body is complex, as are your knees, and it’s very easy to cause aches and pains in this area of your body, even without sudden injury, just by the way you move on a daily basis. The good news is…
